1. About CineFila

CineFila is an online film catalogue and agency platform operated by Cinefila s.r.o., a company registered in the Czech Republic (IČ: 23478357, registered address: V Olšinách 421/37, 100 00 Praha 10). The platform is available at cinefila.cz.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CineFila, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

3. User Accounts

You may browse the public catalogue without an account. To access filmmaker or festival features, you must register and request the appropriate role. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials confidential.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information during registration.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Submitted Content

Filmmakers who submit films to the platform grant Cinefila s.r.o. a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display submitted materials (titles, synopses, stills, posters) on the platform for the purpose of promotion and representation.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit any content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, or privacy rights.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data without our written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure.
• Upload malicious code, spam, or content that violates applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

All platform design, code, logos, and editorial content are the property of Cinefila s.r.o. or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. Film content remains the property of the respective rights holders.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cinefila s.r.o. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Czech Republic.
