Volklore - Student Academy Awards Semifinalist
We are delighted to announce that Volklore, directed by Viktorie Štěpánová, has been selected as a 2026 Student Academy Awards® Semifinalist. Viktorie's Master's degree film at FAMU – Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague explores the transformation of folklore, traditions and collective identity in the age of social media, influencer culture and digital capitalism. Cinefila is proud to represent the film internationally and to see it recognized by the Academy among this year's Student Academy Awards® semifinalists.
