ALEXANDRA HRONCOVÁ

A film distribution manager and festival strategist based in Prague. Thanks to her work, hundreds of short films have reached festivals, including the most prestigious ones such as Cannes, Berlinale, Annecy, Clermont-Ferrand, Sundance, Toronto, Tribeca, Visions du Réel, and the Academy Awards.


For eight years, she has been helping independent filmmakers, young talents, production companies, and students with festival distribution and the global sales. She creates tailor-made festival strategies for short, feature, animated films and films for children and youth. She represents films at major film markets, handles all logistics from submissions to distribution and PR / marketing campaigns, and maximizes the visibility of films at these events. Additionally, she contributes to the development and curation of festival programs and lectures on topics related to festival distribution. Among her achievements is the establishment of www.FAMUfilms.cz, the first film school SVOD platform in Europe.


She has extensive experience in PR/ marketing communication and event management in both higher education and the private sector. She has served as Head of Communications at the Faculty of Science, Charles University, the Czech Technical University, and in commercial companies such as Eurotel (now O2), Vodafone, Philips, and CERN. She has also worked on major cultural festivals in the Czech Republic. Alexandra studied Theory and History of Film and Audiovisual Culture at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague.

SHEHATOVÁ

Amira studied Film History and Audiovisual Culture, as well as Personnel Management at Charles University in Prague. She strives to blend these two seemingly distinct disciplines and alternates between them in her professional endeavors.She further demonstrated her excellent organizational skills at Czech Television’s international department, where she was responsible for programming, guest management, and the organization of the prestigious annual Public Broadcasters International (PBI) conference.



She has over ten years of experience in the festival industry, where she has managed guest services and juries as a guest service coordinator at major festivals across the Czech Republic. She thrives in international and multicultural environments, having previously worked in Germany and the USA.


Currently, Amira is part of the CINEFILA festival distribution team, where she is responsible for film submissions and material shipping.

MAREK

KOUTESH

Marek is a graduate of the Department of Film Studies at Charles University in Prague. As a film critic and reviewer, he has contributed to cultural sections of Czech Television, Aktuálně.cz, Moviescreen.cz, and the magazine Film a doba.


He has collaborated externally with the National Film Archive, the dok.incubator workshop, and several local film festivals.


At CINEFILA, Marek is involved in the curatorial selection of films for the catalogue, with a particular focus on student films — an area in which he has extensive experience through his long-standing work in distributing student and graduate films and managing the FAMU Films SVOD platform. He also creates content for social media and contributes to film evaluation.

KOUTESH DOSTÁLOVÁ

Marie is a studied of the Department of Film Studies at Charles University in Prague. At CINEFILA, she supports the distribution and international sales activities, including the preparation of festival and market submissions, communication with international partners, and coordination of film material deliveries. She also assists with marketing communications.


She has collaborated with several film publications and brings extensive experience in marketing communication from international companies. With a strong interest in independent cinema, Maria contributes to expanding the international visibility of CINEFILA’s catalogue.
